seeing such a beautiful bird as the heron so close, then spread its wings as you put your finger to the trigger and take that first shot, watching though the lens as he beats his wings and takes flight, knowing you have just caught a possible once in a life time opportunity. i wasnt surprised when i got home that is was sl;ightly out of focus as the moment moved so fast the auto focus would have had time to get the correct focus but still, im glad of the chance to witness and capture this flight
